Dairy - Powder Process Operators
Based 30km northwest of Taupo Standard Dairy Shift 6am/pm-6am/pm (2 days on, 2 nights on, and 4 days off) $28-40ph based on experience PERMANENT ROLE
We are seeking experience Dairy Production Operators to join a leading Dairy Factory located in South Waikato committed to excellence in powder production, prioritizing quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- The position is based 30km northwest of Taupo
- Shift pattern (2 days on, 2 nights on, and 4 days off).
- Hours of work are 6.00am/pm – 6.00am/pm.
- PERMANENT ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 3+ years powder process and drying Experience
- Meet productivity and quality targets.
- Support engineering team in maintenance and process improvements.
- Provide accurate data on productivity, yield, and downtime.
- Ensure product meets specifications and compliance with quality/HACCP plan.
- Manage sampling, cleaning schedules, and ERP system accurately.
- Support H&S and risk management plans for compliance.
- Maintain a healthy, safe work environment and support waste reduction initiatives.
- Develop effective working relationships with team members.
- Act in accordance with company values to achieve desired outcomes.
- Fulfil any other responsibilities as required, especially in a Greenfield start-up environment.
- You will be required to operate a forklift and will have support with certified forklift training.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in milk powder process operation, with knowledge of OSH and quality control.
