Drainlayer - Central Otago

Are you an highly skilled drainlayer in New Zealand or have the skills and experience to be? Our client is on the look out for a certified/qualified/registered drainlayer. Working on exciting civil and commercial projects in Central Otago!

About the role:

• Excavating trenches and laying pipes according to project requirements
• Operating heavy machinery including excavators, rollers and loaders
• Ability to plan and carry out work in a team 
• Understanding of Health & Safety in all aspects

As the successful candidate you will have:

• Minimum 3 years experience in civil, residential and drainage systems – experience in New Zealand based drainage system is beneficial 
• Registered with the New Zealand Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (PGDB) (perferred)
• Certificate in Water Reticulation level 4 is beneficial 
• A certified drainlayer ticket or nearing certification
• Heavy machinery, digger operator experience
• Ideally have W, T, and R endorsements
• Class 2 or ideally Class 4 NZ Driver’s License
• Have good written and verbal communication skill
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test
