About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to assess risks and provide engineering solutions for construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and safety of structures, working closely with other engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical investigations, including soil and rock sampling, testing, and analysis.
  • Assess ground conditions and provide recommendations for foundations, earthworks, and slope stability.
  • Design and evaluate retaining walls, embankments, and other geotechnical structures.
  • Use geotechnical software to analyze data and develop engineering solutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and technical documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor construction projects to ensure compliance with geotechnical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and contractors on project planning and execution.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations in all geotechnical work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design principles.
  • Experience conducting fieldwork, site investigations, and laboratory testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex projects.
  • A valid driver’s license.
