Based in Queensland Australia our client manufactures the highest quality roofing supplies, and we are proud to assist them in sourcing a Sheetmetal Machine Operator to join their team, someone experienced in Roll forming and Flashing machine operation, who pays attention to detail. If you have a passion for working with metals and can show minimum 3 years' experience, we gladly welcome you to our team.  

Our requirements

• Experience in operating metal cutting machines

• Knowledge of various metal cutting techniques

• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

• Attention to detail and precision in work

• Physical stamina and ability to work at a fast pace

• Basic knowledge of maintenance and problem-solving

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Your responsibilities

• Setting up metal cutting machines according to specifications

• Operating machines to cut metal components to required dimensions

• Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy

• Operate Guillotine

• Operate Roll Forming machine (Flashings)

• Operate Press Machine

• Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines

• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness at the workstation

• Forklift licence is required.
