They are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder Fabricator to join our busy heavy vehicle workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, fabrication, and working with heavy-duty vehicles and machinery. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient repair, maintenance, and modification of a wide range of heavy vehicles, including trucks, agitators, and other large equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Perform welding and fabrication work on heavy vehicles, agitators, and other machinery, ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Conduct repairs to vehicle frames, chassis, suspension, exhaust systems, and other structural components.
  • Fabricate custom parts and components as required for various repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately complete welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Use a variety of welding techniques MIG, TIG and welding to complete complex projects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring adherence to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with the workshop team to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, ideally within a heavy vehicle workshop.
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG and welding techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
