Quality Assurance Manager with previous experience in Meat Processing Industry

Their highly efficient and first-class processing facilities located regional NSW, combined with a highly skilled and valued team of employee’s positions this meat producer at the forefront of export beef processing in Australia. We are currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager to start mid to late January 2026.

The Position overview:

The Quality Assurance Manager is accountable for the overall site adherence to quality requirements through:

• Allocation, rostering and training of required resources

• Verification of quality processes being adhered to and checked

• Liaising with government department representatives and internal/external stakeholders

• Implementing inspection and monitoring programs

 

Key Duties will include:

OPERATIONAL

• Develop, implement and monitor Quality Assurance processes

• Liaise with production to ensure Quality standards and Approved Arrangements requirements are maintained

• Monitor Quality Assurance inspection schedules Quality System Support and process control including document Control.

• Action and monitor corrective actions as allocated

• Drive continuous improvement through all aspects of the Quality system

FINANCIAL

• Minimise product loss resulting from quality failures

• Minimise customer complaints and financial claims through QA monitoring

PEOPLE

• Manage and be accountable for the Quality Assurance team performance

• Train resources to perform their roles effectively

• Report any breaches of company policy, complaints or people related concerns

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role in a food processing environment

• Previous experience in people management

• Understanding of food processing and quality standards and guidelines
