Our client is a well-established construction company delivering high-quality projects across the lower South Island, and they’re looking for a skilled professional to join their tight-knit team.
About the Role
You’ll be leading and working alongside a small, experienced crew on a wide variety of projects including:
New residential builds
Light commercial work
Corrections facility maintenance & projects
General renovations and improvements
Work is spread throughout the lower South Island, so you must be comfortable travelling and staying away from home when required. Candidates may be based in Otago, Southland, or the Palmerston area.
What We’re Looking For
Trade-qualified Carpenter (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience supervising or leading teams
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt on-site
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High level of workmanship and attention to detail
Reliable, respectful, and able to work well within a small team
Prepared to travel as project locations vary
