General Engineer
A local client is on the lookout for a skilled General Engineer with a strong welding background.
Are you looking to move from a bigger city and ready to get a real work life balance? This position is primarily welding-focused, working across a variety of engineering and fabrication jobs. You'll be welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with some basic machining work required from time to time.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a General Engineer or Welder
- Strong MIG & TIG welding skills
- Confident welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Basic machining skills (lathe/mill experience an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- High attention to quality and workmanship
