We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing team servicing commercial and industrial clients across the Wellington region.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, working both independently and as part of a supportive technical team.
Key Responsibilities
Service, fault-find, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown response
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
Complete job documentation and compliance reporting
Maintain strong client relationships through professional service
Experience
Proven experience as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Ability to work autonomously and manage service schedules
Education & Qualifications
Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Current EST registration (or ability to obtain)
Full NZ driver's licence
Strong understanding of NZ safety and compliance standards
