As an Automotive Technician, you will:
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and determine required repairs.
- Service and repair vehicles, including routine maintenance, wheel alignments, inspections, and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
- Replace and repair parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes and other key components.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed.
- Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues, repair options and costs.
- Follow safety standards to protect yourself, the team and our customers.
- Commit to continuous learning, staying up to date with new automotive technologies and systems.
The ideal technician will have:
- A genuine passion for the automotive industry and high-quality workmanship.
- A Trade Certified Automotive qualification.
- A current Warrant of Fitness issuing authority
- A full New Zealand driver's licence.
- Automotive electrical skills, or a strong desire to develop in this area.
