Automotive/WOF Technician

As an Automotive Technician, you will:

  • Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and determine required repairs.
  • Service and repair vehicles, including routine maintenance, wheel alignments, inspections, and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Replace and repair parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes and other key components.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues, repair options and costs.
  • Follow safety standards to protect yourself, the team and our customers.
  • Commit to continuous learning, staying up to date with new automotive technologies and systems.

The ideal technician will have:

  • A genuine passion for the automotive industry and high-quality workmanship.
  • A Trade Certified Automotive qualification.
  • A current Warrant of Fitness issuing authority 
  • A full New Zealand driver's licence.
  • Automotive electrical skills, or a strong desire to develop in this area.
