As an Consultant within the Canstaff Group team you will support clients and our applicants to gain, and sustain meaningful employment.  You will provide high-quality coaching, training, and practical assistance in a person-centred and culturally responsive environment, helping participants identify career goals, overcome barriers, and build work readiness skills.

What you'll be doing

 

  • Detail-focused, skilled with conducting in-depth interviews, vetting applications, and presenting job offers.
  • Committed to excellence, passionate about recruitment and customer service, ensuring the highest level of account management for our clients.
  • Prepare participants to enter the workforce, by providing pre-employment skills and training
  • Guide and support participants to set goals and career plans.
  • Roster Management, assigning employees to shifts and data management.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with key customers, influencers while prospect and target accounts for continued growth.
  • Analyse territory potential, run a structured call cycle, and stay ahead of market conditions and competitor activity.
  • Implement a call plan that maximises revenue and effectiveness, with a strategic approach to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Pipeline management – Identify projects early, manage your CRM diligently, and pursue a coordinated approach to hit agreed strike rates.

 

What we're looking for

 

  • A track record of hitting targets and a clear understanding of what drives your success.
  • Understands value, not just price, and can create compelling long-term propositions for customers.
  • Collaborative, reliable, and respectful who can share knowledge openly and contribute actively to a supportive team culture.

 

 

Ideally you will have:

 

  • 1-2 years' experience in a service/sales focussed role (exposure to recruitment would be an added bonus!)
  • Proven track record in achieving KPIs and exceeding sales targets
  • Resilience and determination to overcome objections and stay motivated
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethics, driven by passion and a results-focussed mindset
  • Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
  • Excellent problem solving, influencing, and time management skills
