Key Responsibilities
Depending on your experience and the role, duties may include:
- Installation and maintenance of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
- Civil drainage and pipeline construction
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Operating excavators and civil plant safely and efficiently
- Pipe installation, testing, and commissioning
- Quality assurance and ensuring work meets industry standards
- Working closely with supervisors, project managers, and site teams
- Maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety on site
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant trade qualifications, licences, or registrations for your chosen discipline
- Proven experience within civil, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of New Zealand industry standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Full New Zealand Driver Licence
- Class 2, Class 4, and/or WTR endorsements are highly advantageous for plant operators
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated individuals with a positive attitude
