Maintenance Technician - Electrical

Our client is a fast-growing Electrical service and contracting company based in Auckland that specialises in Industrial maintenance and repairs, Motor control / PLC, safety systems, power upgrades & building maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
- NZ registered electrician with a current practicing licence.
- NZ registered electrical inspector would be a bonus.
- Industrial equipment experience highly regarded
- Motor control experience highly regarded
- Auto CAD experience highly regarded
- PLC experience highly regarded
- Driver’s license essential.
The Responsibilities
Once you have settled into the role and gained all the required inhouse training, You will be required to independently carry out tasks including (But not limited to):
- Industrial maintenance tasks
- Machinery Installations
- Breakdown repairs
- Upgrades
- Building maintenance
- Site Re-locations
- CAD Design
- Building Switchboards
- PLC Programming
- Data Communications
- Civil Sites
- Fuel installations
- HVAC
Good knowledge of industrial electrical repair and maintenance practices.
Hazardous Area experience or want to learn.
Able to read and prepare drawings.
Able to work unsupervised and be solutions focused.
Be self-motivated, team and safety focused.
Great attitude, sense of humour and wants to learn
