We are looking for a motivated Assembly Technician to join our client, a well-established, family-owned business specialising in the manufacture of precision products in the Franklin region.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, committed, and able to work independently when required
- Willingness to learn and follow processes accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to understand instructions clearly
- Experience in computer assembly (advantageous but not essential)
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble base parts and components into finished products
- Carry out pre-sales testing to ensure product quality and performance standards are met
- Assemble packaging and prepare pallets of completed products for dispatch
- Use handheld power tools for precise assembly tasks
- Read and follow measurements and technical instructions accurately
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and management to meet production targets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Follow all safety procedures, company standards, and quality requirements
Requirements:
- Full, valid driver’s licence
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Willingness to undergo training and develop technical skills
Work hours & remuneration:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay rate will be competitive and based on experience and skills.
