Aviation Site Operations & Relationship Manager

Seeking experienced and passionate Operation & Relationship Manager for our Auckland Region based client within the Aviation Petroleum Industry for an exciting new project! Take your career to new heights!


Our client operates within the petroleum supply industry, a one-stop nationwide fuel supplier providing a range of petrochemical products better for the environment.

About the Role
Our client’s business is in an exciting stage of growth, and they currently have a large and exciting project on the go, and therefore a position is now available for an Aviation Site Operations & Relationship Manager encompassing sales, relationship management, business growth as well as managing and performing daily refueling operations. This diverse role offers an exciting challenge to an ambitious and success driven individual that enjoys “taking off and reaching new heights” with a project.

As an Aviation Site Operations & Relationship Manager you will be confident in achieving the following:

  • Sales Growth – develop business relationships with key customers.
  • Management of existing customer base.
  • Defining service level agreement/expectations.
  • Developing services capabilities – 24/7 Fuel Supply, Lubricants and Products, Fuel Cards, Aviation and Marina.
  • Business Plans – Capex/Opex/Training.
  • Compliance and Risk Management.
  • Manage & supervise a team of Refuelers
  • Refuel customers & refueling checks 
  • Fuel deliveries to customers

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Sales Management skills (minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales/account management position).
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with venders and suppliers.
  • Effective leadership skills & performance management experience.
  • Business development.
  • Dangerous Goods Endorsement
  • Class 2 Drivers Licence (minimum requirement)
  • Compliance and risk management.
  • Ability to design, implement and enforce streamline internal processes.
  • Highly organized with an ability to plan, multitask and prioritize appropriately.
