Our client is currently seeking a skilled bricklayer to join their busy team in Southland! They tackle a wide range of work from complete plaster facade installation and finishing, interior plaster finishing, right through to general exterior plastering of landscaping walls, fences and renovations.
About the role
This is a hands-on role for an experienced Bricklayer who takes pride in workmanship and attention to detail. You will be involved in a variety of residential and light commercial projects, working as part of a skilled team to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Brick and block laying to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Ensuring accurate installation and clean finishes
- Maintaining a safe, tidy worksite
- Working efficiently to meet project timelines
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
- Relevant trade qualification preferred but not essential
