Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with New Zealand legislation and company policies.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Civil Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the civil construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing site challenges.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant qualifications in civil construction, engineering, or a related field (desirable).
