As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities are for ensuring the successful delivery of quality projects from start to finish. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the technical, quality and engineering aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
What you’ll be doing;
- Manage the day-to-day site operations, including supervising construction activities, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that may arise
- Interpret and implement engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure the project is delivered to the required standards
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve any concerns
- Conduct site inspections, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical documentation as required
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management plans and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations
What we’re looking for;
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar civil engineering site role
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Familiarity with relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations
