We’re on the lookout for reliable and hardworking Civil Labourers to join a busy crew working on asphalt and road sealing projects across Timaru. If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work and being part of a tight-knit team, this could be a great opportunity for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with asphalt laying and road sealing operations
- Raking, shovelling, and spreading asphalt
- Traffic management support and site setup/pack down
- Operating small tools and equipment (rollers, compactors, etc.)
- General labouring duties to support the crew on-site
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
What we’re looking for:
- Previous civil, construction, or roading experience is a bonus (but not essential)
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
