Class 4 / 5 Truck Driving labourer
We're on the lookout for an experienced Class 4 / 5 Truck Driver to join a well-established, New Zealand-owned company based in South Canterbury.
About the role:
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and being part of a hardworking team. You’ll be responsible for transporting a range of materials and structural components to sites, with plenty of variety in your day-to-day work. This isn’t just driving you’ll also be expected to jump in and help out on site when needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 4/5 trucks
- Load, secure, and transport a variety of materials, including irregular/odd-shaped structures
- Ensure loads are safely restrained and compliant
- Assist on site with general tasks when required
- Maintain high standards of health & safety
What we’re looking for:
- Full Class 4 or 5 licence
- Proven experience loading and securing a wide range of loads
- Confidence handling unusual or oversized items
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in on site
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical mindset
- Reliability and a team-first attitude
