They specialize in timber merchant,processing and are importers of NZ largest range of native and exotic timber. Their customers range from building construction joiners furniture manufacturers cabinet makers boat builders and flooring contractors.

Key Accountabilities:
- Planning, scheduling and processing of jobs
- Programming machines 2+ years experience ideally needed
- KPI driven
- Design and produce templates and knives
- Set grind and hone knives to specific profiles
- Set up machinery including heads for production runs
- Effectively run planners band saws and other machinery
- Feeding and tailing out of all machines
- Continuous quality checks whilst processing to ensure product is manufactured as per drawings and specifications
- Any other duties required to keep the machine shop running effectively which could include but not limited to FORK LIFT STRAPPING WRAPPING GRADING FILLETING AND TALLYING OF TIMBER
You:
- Mechanically minded
- Great problem solver
- CNC machine operations experience
- Experience in programming
- Able to work under pressure
- Adaptable

- Can work alone but is able to collaboratively work in a team
