Must haves:
- NZ Dogman certification
- Full NZ CL1 driver's license
- In depth knowledge and experience with rigging
- Confident communication style
- Have thorough understanding of health and safety procedures/processes in this industry
- In depth skill set in carpentry
- Ability to work cohesively with colleagues – crane operators, truck drivers etc.
RIGGER: A rigger's responsibilities involve understanding load calculations, conducting safety inspections on gear and equipment, and communicating effectively with crane operators. Riggers work mainly outdoors and their role demands sound physical health and the ability to work in potentially dangerous environments.
DOGMAN: You'll be using hand and whistle signals, two-way radios and slinging techniques, assessing risks, solving problems on the fly, and working closely with your team to ensure smooth operations.
