Drainlayer
Be a key player in an epic team! Seeking a Drainlayer to be based in Central Otago.
Are you an highly skilled drainlayer in New Zealand or have the skills and experience to be? Our client is on the look out for a certified/qualified/registered drainlayer. Working on exciting civil and commercial projects in Central Otago!
About the role:
- Excavating trenches and laying pipes according to project requirements
- Operating heavy machinery including excavators, rollers and loaders
- Ability to plan and carry out work in a team
- Understanding of Health & Safety in all aspects
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in civil, residential and drainage systems – experience in New Zealand based drainage system is beneficial
- Registered with the New Zealand Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (PGDB) (perferred)
- Certificate in Water Reticulation level 4 is beneficial
- A certified drainlayer ticket or nearing certification
- Heavy machinery, digger operator experience
- Ideally have W, T, and R endorsements
- Class 2 or ideally Class 4 NZ Driver’s License
- Have good written and verbal communication skill
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test
