Our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Foreman to lead our busy workshop team to install and repair farm equipment across Canterbury.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who can confidently manage staff, coordinate workflow, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
About the Role
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day workshop operations
- Lead, mentor, and support workshop staff
- Plan and prioritise jobs to meet deadlines
- Ensure work is completed to required specifications and quality standards
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety
- Liaise with management, suppliers, and customers as required
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support when needed
About You
- Proven experience in a foreman or supervisory role within an engineering workshop
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Solid technical background in general engineering / fabrication / machining
- Ability to plan workloads and manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and quality
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and best practice
