Experienced Paver Worker Wanted!
Do you have 1-2 years of experience in paving work and are looking to advance your career? We want you on our team!
What You’ll Do:
- Large Paver Application & Compaction: Apply and compact pavers for various roadwork projects, ensuring consistent application techniques to achieve optimal coverage and durability.
- Surface Quality Control: Ensure smooth and even surfaces by following project specifications and quality standards, constantly checking for imperfections and making necessary adjustments.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a range of paving and compaction equipment, such as pavers, rollers, and compactors, while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime. This includes refueling, checking oil levels, and monitoring mechanical components.
- Material Management: Handle and manage paving materials effectively, ensuring proper storage, mixing, and application to maintain high-quality work.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to meet strict project deadlines and specifications. Communicate any issues or concerns regarding the job site, materials, or equipment in a timely manner.
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Assist in preparing job sites by setting up safety barriers and signage. Participate in post-project cleanup and restoration to ensure the site meets regulatory and environmental standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure compliance with local and national construction regulations.
