Factory Process Assistant/Technician

Work on a food and beverage factory production line in Māngere where full training is provided.

 

About the Role

You’ll be an important team member working on fast-paced production lines performing various duties, including sorting, blending, quality control, packing of products, and associated cleaning duties.

This role is for a fixed-term contract with the opportunity for a permanent contract to be offered to those who excel.

You’ll work 8 shifts every 2 weeks on a 4-day and 4-night roster, alternating between day shifts one week and night shifts the next. There will be no weekend work scheduled, and overtime is available for those who want it.

About You

You’re a trustworthy, dependable individual with a self-motivated attitude and work well in a team. You lead by example, are receptive to feedback, and adhere to high health, safety, and hygiene standards. 

Having experience in either food or manufacturing work is required.

  • Good attention to detail

  • Able to stand for long hours

  • Being capable of repeatedly lifting up to 25 kg is an essential requirement

  • Experience in food/manufacturing environments

  • Able to pass a drug test
