Joiner/Cabinet maker

Our client is one of Australia's largest and best regarded coffin and casket manufacturers in Australia with branches and workshops in every state in the country.

Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for committed, proactive and qualified Joiner to join their team.

If you are a Joiner or Cabinetmaker and are interested in breaking into the coffin/casket making industry this could be your opportunity.

The successful applicant will:

• Be a woodworking specialist
• Trade Qualified Joiner or Cabinetmaker (previous coffin making experience will be highly regarded)
• Good Communicator
• Able to meet deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good hand eye coordination – spatial awareness
• Focused on safety

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Use of computer aided design program for calculations
• Ability to work with various hand and power tools
• Cutting, joining wood according to plan
• Assembly of product

Work hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:20pm – Overtime available

This position is on a full-time basis, and we encourage international applicants to apply as full work sponsorship is on offer.

To be eligible for an Australian work permit you must have completed a successful Skill Assessment or willing to undertake Skill Assessment and English IELTS.
