We’re seeking a skilled Lamb Butcher to join our high-performing processing team. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where quality, precision, and hygiene are top priorities.

 

As a key member of the butchery team, you’ll be responsible for:

Processing whole lamb carcasses into individual cuts according to specification

Performing abattoir duties as required

Maintaining accuracy and consistency in cut size, weight, and presentation

Ensuring hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are met at all times

Participating in daily cleaning and equipment sanitation after each shift

 

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified butcher with formal trade training

Minimum 2 years’ experience in lamb butchery (preferably in a production or abattoir environment)

Strong understanding of meat safety, handling, and hygiene regulations

Reliable, efficient, and capable of maintaining quality under pressure

A proactive team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Meat Inspector certification is an advantage but not essential
