Machine Operator
Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated operator to join their civil siteworks team. You will operate a range of machinery, including skid steers, excavators, trucks, rollers, compactors, and more, across various civil siteworks projects in Mid Canterbury. These projects will involve subdivisions, foundations, driveways, car parks, service connections, drainage, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tracked and wheel excavators, along with other machinery, to complete civil siteworks tasks
- Work on a variety of projects, including subdivision development, foundations, and drainage systems
- Ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks to a high standard
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators and other machinery
- Minimum Class 2 New Zealand driver's license (W, T, R endorsements are an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Positive attitude towards Health and Safety practices
