About the Role
Your role will be to monitor, inspect and report across mining operations to ensure all activities and conditions are safe and compliant with relevant legislation.
Reporting to the Mining Production Superintendent and working a 7/7 roster, as the Production Supervisor you’ll provide visible leadership to support our people in the delivery of efficient waste removal and the quality mining of coal, whilst focusing on equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
- Organise job tasks, lead, train, and discipline crew members as required
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Liaise with other teams to establish production priorities and ensure targets are met
About You
As a solutions-focused, inspiring leader with the ability to upskill teams in a complex mining environment, you have the ability to influence stakeholders, challenge the norm and implement change. You include everyone and drive a culture of having fun, engaging positively and striving to be the best.
You have proven experience and a broader understanding of all aspects of open-cut mining. You’re a genuine, ethical leader capable of mentoring and guiding large-scale teams to achieve business goals.
- Open Cut Examiner’s qualification
- Knowledge of Truck & Shovel mining practices
- Previous experience in an OCE/Supervisor position is beneficial
