About you
- Conversant with 3 waters
- 5-10 years experience
- Bachelor of Engineering or similar
- Must have broad knowledge of Water policies, process, systems, & materials
- Must have strong leadership working with cultural diversity
- Specializing in delivering complex water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
- Experience in projects focusing on planning, design, construction, and resource consenting for large scale
- Experience with ensuring alignment with asset management plans, managing budgets, technical aspects, and stakeholder engagement
Primary Objectives:
To complete all Civil/water work efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining a safe working environment that meets all network operators' standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing work schedule for positions supervised (Site Supervisors and other Operators)
- Preparation of Project Documentation ie SWMS and Procedures etc
- Coordinate staff to complete electrical work
- Coordinate subcontractors involved with electrical work
- Site Inspections and audits
- Evaluate subcontractors for civil/water works
- Complete and Lodge paperwork required on job completion
- Follow up and complete all unfinished projects
Health and Safety
- Implement the occupational health and safety policy and management plan.
- Ensure compliance by all employees, contractors and visitors with regard to both the plan and policy.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Occupational Health and Safety Plan.
- Ensure the occupational health and safety policy and plan are included in the planning phase of any new project.
- Ensure safe work practices are adhered to.
- Ensure all employees, contractors and visitors comply with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan and occupational health and safety policy.
Environment
- Implement the environmental management policy and management plan.
- Ensure compliance by all employees, contractors and visitors with regard to both the plan and policy.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Environmental Management Plan.
- Ensure the environmental management policy and plan are included in the planning phase of any new project.
- Ensuring that environmental best practice is adhered to.
- Ensuring all employees, contractors and visitors comply with the requirements of the Environmental Management Plan and the Environmental policy
