Location: Waikato / Taupo region
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
We're working with a well-established industrial services company seeking a newly qualified Industrial Electrician to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build solid experience in an industrial environment with strong mentorship and long-term progression.
About the Role
You'll be working across industrial sites supporting electrical maintenance, fault finding, and installation work. This role is ideal for someone confident in their qualification and keen to grow their industrial skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical maintenance and breakdowns on industrial plant and equipment
- Carry out installations, testing, and commissioning work
- Support senior electricians and supervisors on site
- Follow all health & safety procedures and site requirements
- Complete job documentation and reporting accurately
Experience
- Newly qualified or early-career Industrial Electrician
- Exposure to industrial environments preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and fault finding
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Education & Qualifications
- NZ Registered Electrician (or in the final stages of registration)
- EWRB practicing license (or ability to obtain)
- Site Safe preferred
- Full NZ driver's license
