About the Role
You'll work in beautiful Queenstown transporting construction material from one site to another with a tractor and tipping trailer.
- Operating and maintaining tractors and machinery in a safe and effective manner
- Meeting all health and safety standards
- Completing safety checks and risk assessments before operating machinery
- Operating machinery in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintaining good environmental practice standards
About You
You are an experienced, tractor operator with a can-do attitude and you know how to look after the machinery like it was your own. If you have previous experience in truck and trailer driving (class 5) or excavator operating (hold WTR) then also please apply as on site training will be provided.
- Full New Zealand or International Drivers License
- Experience operating large machinery – tractors, truck and trailer, excavators are beneficial
- Follow health and safety protocols to deliver safe practice
- Use the appropriate technology, machinery, and equipment
- Be reliable with a positive attitude to work
- Be able to focus for extended periods to complete work tasks safely and efficiently
- Have good communication and listening skills
