The Role

You must possess a current Class 2 licence to qualify for this position. You will be required to be flexible for overtime, however some weeks there may only be 4 days work.
Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for safely driving and working on site. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong mechanical understanding, and the ability to adapt to different tasks on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a variety of vehicles,
Load & Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from the depot and construction sites, ensuring all deliveries are on time and in compliance with safety regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment are in good working condition.
Load and unload materials ensuring proper handling and safety precautions.
Maintain a clean and organised truck and equipment, ensuring all operational standards are met.
Follow company safety procedures, policies, and road regulations always.
Assist with minor maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles and machinery when necessary.
Communicate effectively with team members, site managers, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
