Our client is currently seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver to join their team in a busy transport company. In this role, you will be operating logging trucks and transporting logs throughout the Canterbury region.
This is a family-run Canterbury business with over 100 years of history, known for looking after their drivers and running a safe, professional operation.
About the Role
- Transporting logs across Canterbury
- Operating Class 5 logging trucks
- Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
- Completing daily vehicle checks and basic paperwork
- Working as part of a tight-knit, experienced team
About You
- Hold a current Class 5 licence
- Previous logging or heavy transport experience preferred
- Good knowledge of Canterbury roads
- Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
