Truck Driver

We are a seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team in North Canterbury. This is a permanent full-time role, operating a variety of heavy vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from yards or sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operating and maneuvering trucks to transport materials and equipment.
- Ideally have the ability to tip, spread, jackknife and reverse a truck and trailer unit safely.
- Performing pre-start checks and regular maintenance on assigned vehicles.
- Maintaining accurate logs of vehicle usage and deliveries.
- Adhering to all health and safety, and environmental regulations.
What we're looking for:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy trucks in a construction or logistics setting.
- Strong knowledge of local roads, vehicle capabilities and load securement best practices.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
