We need underground operators and tradespeople for mines in the Mackay region.
About the Role
You’ll be an essential crew member driving performance through production processes. Operators ensure the safe and efficient use of a diverse range of equipment related to all aspects of development, longwall, or outbye mining.
Duties will relate to construction, installation, maintenance, secondary support installation, strata consolidation, outbye operations, or general mine services.
Entry-level to experienced roles available.
About You
You’re a team player with solid communication skills, the ability to handle complexities within the role, and a strong safety focus.
- Machinery operation experience is essential
- Relevant trade qualification (if applying for a trades role)
Beneficial
- Conveyor or Outbye maintenance experience
- Work At Heights, Lifting and Dogging, Conduct Lifting Operations tickets
- Current Standard 11
- Coal Board Medical
- Experience in a quarry or mining environment is advantageous
