Our client needs a carpet layer in Levin – whether experienced or new to the trade, they welcome your application!
About the Role
You'll check the customers' requirements and prepare quotes for jobs predominantly in new housing developments. You'll prepare the areas to be covered, then cut, apply and secure floor coverings. Occasionally, you'll work with other materials such as resin flooring, lino, and timber.

About You
Ideally, you're knowledgeable on different types of flooring materials and how to cut and fit or apply them. If you're new to the trade, your keen and eager to learn the skills required. You're skilled in using a range of hand and power tools, including specialised equipment such as floor sanders, while adhering to strict health and safety processes.
Technical skills such as knowing how to measure a floor's moisture content are advantageous to have.
