Established for 15 year our client specialises in civil engineering projects, including residential and industrial subdivisions, infrastructure, and civil site works. Our dedicated team forms partnerships with specialist companies to ensure successful project delivery.

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing professional civil engineering support, focusing on investigative design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Your work will primarily involve land development and local government infrastructure projects.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Management:

  • Undertake the role of civil engineering technician, actively contributing to project control and completion.
  • Manage risk associated with project deliverables and assist in project scoping and preparation.
  • Participate in project briefing meetings, data analysis, and preparation of client reports.
  • Control and perform delegated project tasks within specified scopes of work.
  • Participate in post-project review processes and implement changes to practices and processes.

Business Development:

  • Provide services that meet clients' project needs, establishing effective working relationships.
  • Support business development strategies and marketing plans to maximise company revenue.

Technical Expertise:

  • Collect, analyse, and process engineering data from field investigations and business processes.
  • Apply accepted principles and best practices to provide engineering solutions and recommendations.
  • Utilise engineering software to produce solutions, reports, drawings, and data.
  • Prepare designs, CAD drawings, specifications, and contract documents for engineering projects.
  • Undertake storm water modeling and preparation of storm water management plans.

Organisational Skills:

  • Communicate effectively and receive corrective feedback.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Comply with safe working practices in accordance with Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Observe and comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality management system requirements.
