Class 5 Driver/Machine Operator
We need Class 5 truck drivers with machinery operation experience in Hastings. Negotiable pay rate. WTR required.
About the Role
We're looking for suitably experienced truck drivers who are committed to working hard and providing quality service to our client's customers. The roles available require you to perform various duties operating bulldozers, forklifts, cranes, loaders, etc., and driving trucks of varying sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance with workplace health and safety standards
- Maintain good working relationships with staff, clients and suppliers
- Haulage of various products
- Operate bulldozers, forklifts, cranes, loaders
- Maintain your truck and gear in a clean and tidy manner
About You
You're an honest and reliable self-starter who can work independently and as a team. You can meet deadlines while, most importantly, providing quality work and exceptional customer service.
You have a sound understanding of site safety and hazard management, knowledge of machinery maintenance and care, and a good level of physical fitness.
- Experience driving various truck/tractor-trailer combinations
- Class 5 driver's license
- WTR endorsements required
- Able to pass pre-employment drug testing
What's On Offer
- Earn $28 – $40 per hour, based on your experience
- 8% holiday pay on top of an hourly rate
- Full-time role, 40+ hours
- PPE provided
