Enthusiastic Warehouse Assistant sought for Rolleston based client in exciting growth mode - $24-$27 per hour - Immediate start available - Fixed Term - Permanent Opportunity
Our client’s business is in an exciting stage of growth and they currently have a very large and exciting project on the go, and therefore a position is now available for an additional enthusiastic Warehouse Assistant. Whilst this may start as a fixed term position there is opportunity for a permanent role to the successful applicant if they excel in the first few months.
About the Role
The Warehouse is a fast-paced environment and each day will come with a new set of tasks and challenges. Some daily tasks may include but not limited to:
- Keeping yourself and your workmates safe
- Accurately receiving inwards goods, recording in the system and storing in the correct areas
- Accurately packing outwards goods, recording in the system and sending them to the correct department for assembly
- Issuing out staff PPE and record keeping
- Assisting in stock takes
- Safely operating forklift
- Unloading and loading delivery trucks
- Deliveries
What you’ll bring to the role:
Previous experience in a Distribution Center ideal but not essential
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions, lists and data recording
- A positive, friendly can – do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Current forklift license ideally
- Clean Full New Zealand Drivers License
- Legal Working Rights in New Zealand
