About the Role
Our client's grounds/garden maintenance company is based in Tiamru District, South Canterbury, and they need an experienced arborist to join their team. They run a skilled team performing various landscaping and tree management duties. Their focus is on health, safety, and environmentally compliant practices.
You will inspect trees, develop and implement tree care plans, and identify and treat diseased trees.
- Undertake tree felling, stump grinding, and stump treatment
- Crown reduction, pruning, and pollarding
- Deadwooding and vegetation clearance
- Remove dead or unwanted trees.
About You
As an experienced arborist, you're proficient in various tree management techniques and the operation of arboricultural equipment. You have a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- 3+ years of experience as an arborist
- Relevant qualifications/certifications
- Certified in trimming trees from power wires
