Our client is currently looking for an experienced Foreman Carpenter to lead and manage site-based teams in Nelson, with an immediate start available. This role involves coordinating sub-contractors and collaborating closely with the project team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Foreman Carpenter to lead and manage site-based teams in Nelson, with an immediate start available. This role involves coordinating sub-contractors and collaborating closely with the project team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.
What we need from you:
- To be a natural leader with experience in the building industry with relevant experience as a Foreman and references to reflect
- Must have the ability to read and interpret plans
- Be able to support and encourage your team to finish their work to a high standard
- Monitor progress and report back to head office
- Be willing and able to jump onto the tools to support the team in all building requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Implement and adhere to all Health and Safety Requirements
- Qualified Builder (NZ Registered)
- Full Class 1 License
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Good level of physical fitness for manual handling tasks
- Reliable transport to get you to and from work
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Willing to undergo a criminal history check
