Operate a forklift and dispatch outgoing goods in a busy warehouse environment as a Forklift Operator in Timaru.

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently load, transport, and unload materials to and from processing and packing areas. You'll also undertake some general warehouse duties such as housekeeping as needed.

• Operate a forklift
• Load and unload goods
• Perform general warehouse duties
• Some manual handling and heavy lifting required

 

About You

You have a general understanding of standard warehouse practices and are physically fit and able to lift as some manual handling work will be needed. A strong work ethic combined with a can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn will see you succeed in this role. You're reliable and honest, can work in a team and individually, and follow instructions.

• 2+ years of experience operating forklifts
• OSH cert required (F Endorsement beneficial)
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Physically fit
