Hammerhand / Labourer

We need hardworking, motivated construction labourers / hammerhands for a variety of work across Waikato and/or based in Hamilton.

 

About the Role

You'll be assisting with a range of construction projects performing various duties manually and using power tools. This is a physical role, so you'll need to be fit and hardworking. 

One day you might be helping build framework, and the next might see you prepping for concrete work or measuring and cutting materials – there will always be plenty of variety!

If you have the right attitude and show dedication to learning new skills, this is the perfect “foot-in-the-door” opportunity to get in with a leading construction company.

• Operate hand and power tools
• Measure and cut materials
• Assist with building frames etc.
• Load and unload vehicles
• Clean up site

 

About You

Whether you have no experience or tons, we want to hear from you! To succeed you need to be able to follow instructions and be an enthusiastic person with a great work ethic. You're keen to learn and develop your skills, and you're reliable and will show up to work on time, every time

Experience in the construction industry or with general labouring is advantageous, but not necessary

• Physically fit
• Can use basic hand and power tools
• Will pass a drug test

• Pay based on your experience – $23 – $29 per hour
• Immediate start available
• Full-time hours
