Joiner / Kitchen Assembler

An experienced worker is wanted for joinery / kitchen assembly in a local Christchurch factory.

About the Role

This position would suit an experienced and versatile carpenter, cabinet maker, or kitchen installer with meticulous attention to detail. Joinery or previous experience in cabinet making for the kitchen industry, whilst ideal, is not essential. 

This is a permanent role that you can start immediately. If you're looking for a fast-paced, exciting job in the carpentry sector, where every day is different, look no further. 

• Read and interpret plans
• Machine and build household joinery
• Assemble and finish cabinetry

 

About You

Ideally, you'll have provable experience as a cabinetmaker, shop-fitter, or joiner and be competent in reading plans. You're able to safely use machinery and tools and have high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and honesty are must-have character traits.

• Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Physically fit and hard-working
• Relevant joinery qualification is a bonus
