Seeking Experienced Purchasing Administrator

Seeking Experienced Purchasing Administrator - Rolleston Location - $25-$29 per hour - Immediate start - Fun and Friendly Team Culture - Exciting New Project!

Our client’s business is in an exciting stage of growth and they currently have a very large and exciting project on the go, and therefore a position is now available for an additional experienced Purchasing Administrator Superstar.

Work within the purchasing department to assist them in the procurement and management of purchases which will assist in the production of our Client's exciting new project

  • Assist in placing orders and purchasing goods
  • Perform Vendor research, reports and selection to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Conducting stock-takes, inventory control and re-order systems
  • Conduct market research to identify price trends
  • Maintain records of invoices, contracts, purchase orders


What you’ll bring to the role:

Previous experience in a Distribution Center is ideal but not essential

  • UE or Equivalent
  • Experience with purchasing systems (preferably NIMBUS)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Software particularly Word and Excel
  • A positive, friendly can-do attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of locomotive (vehicle) parts is a real bonus but not essential!
  • Clean Full New Zealand Drivers License
  • Legal Working Rights in New Zealand
